Welcome to Community Gamer, or cGamer for short. We are a gaming community for every type of gamer, from casual to hardcore gamers, console to pc gamers and for people who like technology. cGamer is made up by forum software, MyBB. We have a Blog and Updates section followed by all the main forums which are Gaming, Technology and General Discussion.
Everyone is welcome to register and use the forums. Just sign up and get posting! There may be the odd competition here and there, however do not expect amazing prizes. Please spread the word around and get people to join in with the community.
About Us
Community Gamer started back in the summer of 2008 after I (Robert Stone) finished my GCSE exams. Community Gamer started off as just a simple blog powered by wordpress, however I did not feel this was enough for a community, so I experimented with a number of different forum software until I discovered MyBB.
MyBB was perfect for cGamer as the amount of customisation you can make to the forums is huge! There are loads of people working really hard, and pushing out some amazing plugins. Another thing I liked was the number of skins there were for MyBB that people had made, and how easy it is to edit them.
